This is a heartfelt, Thank You,to all of our fellow waterfowl enthusiasts who have used (and trusted) us over the last 47 years. I just recently realized that our Outer Banks Waterfowl website had been infected with-what I understand to be- a “phishing virus” this summer.
IT HAS BEEN DEALT WITH, FIXED AND PROTECTED.
I’m quite embarrassed that this happened. I totally apologize to anyone who may have been compromised or dealt hardship as a result. I feel terrible that we were attacked so callously. There are those who are extremely jealous of our business’ near half-century of success.
To set the record straight: over the last 2 years, my wife’s-Ellen- pancreas slowly failed. That resulted in necessary digestive enzymes from being produced. Because of the deficiency of those enzymes her body was more and more unable to gather any benefit from the food she ate. There were also unfortunate side effects. And then she also became bedridden. The end result in all of this is that her body eventually consumed itself. She passed in August.
Since the day after the 2023-2024 waterfowl season ended I devoted myself to her care. I swore to myself that her end would occur in the house that she designed, had built and loved. During all of that, our website wasn’t the most important thing on my
mind…
As I mentioned earlier, our site’s breach has been identified and wiped clean of malware!
Despite all this our bookings are strong. We do have openings scattered throughout the approaching fowling seasons. We also are getting calls every day so we are booking up. Talk to your buddies, pick some dates and give me a call 📞. (252) 202-7842.
Thank you for the honor of your trust.
